Is My English Language Adequate?

Section 31 of the Nurses and Midwives Act 1991 states that a person is not entitled to be registered or enrolled unless the person proves to the satisfaction of the Board that the person has a knowledge of the English language adequate for the conduct of the practice of nursing or midwifery, as applicable.

Irrespective of other considerations, if you are unable to satisfy the Board in regard to the adequacy of your English language, then you would not be able to establish an entitlement to registration or enrolment.
