HomeEducationEducation of Enrolled Nurses Recognised courses permitting access to a facilitated process when applying for enrolment as a nurse Section 10(1)(g) of the Nurses and Midwives Act 1991 provides for the Board to "grant recognition" to (i) the education institution, (ii) the curriculum and (iii) the qualification awarded.  The purpose of recognition is to facilitate processing of applications for enrolment. The following courses have been submitted for assessment by the Nurses and Midwives Board.
