Please note that applications are not accepted by facsimile or email, as documents must be originals or copies bearing an original certification. Documents relating to applications may be lodged by post or in person.

Sydney is on Eastern Australian Standard time which is 10 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or Universal Time, except that Summer Time operates from late October to March, and is 11 hours ahead of GMT or Universal Time.
Correspondence: Correspondence regarding policy matters may be addressed to the Executive Director and correspondence regarding individual persons (registrants or applicants) may be addressed to the Registrar.
Applications for registration and enrolment are filed according to applicants’ names. Should an applicant’s documents show different names, it is important that the name under which the application is lodged be explicitly highlighted to ensure that all documents are placed on the relevant file.
Proof of identity: Where an applicant for registration has been advised to attend the Board's office for the purpose of establishing her or his identity prior to registration being granted, then the person must provide original documents in accord with instructions. Usually the documents will be the person's passport and, if applicable, other acceptable documents as evidence of change of name.
If visiting the Board's office for other reasons, evidence of identity will be required and documents such as driver's licence, hospital identification card, credit cards, passport etc. should be available to identify yourself as the person described in the documents.
Authorisation to another to transact business: A letter of authority should be given to anyone (even a close relative such as a spouse) nominated to transact business on your behalf at this office in person. This authorisation should specify the business to be transacted, plus an expiry date after which it is not valid, and be signed by the person nominated and yourself.
