TAFE Bridging Course for Enrolled Nurses for credit in Bachelor of Nursing


For students commencing from January 2006 to December 2011

This course is provided by TAFE NSW but has been submitted to the Nurses and Midwives Board by the Australian Catholic Univeristy as it provides an alternate pathway for enrolled nurses wishing to undertake the Bachelor of Nursing course.

Enrolled nurses who successfully complete the Bridging Course are eligible to enter directly into Year Two of the Bachelor of Nursing course.


The course consists of the following TAFE modules:

3069A   Contexts of nursing   (27 hours) 
3069B   Nursing practice foundations   (48 hours) 
3069C   Applied science for practice   (57 hours)
